Carnival Week Festival schedule: “Cantigos in Carrela”, the horse racing “Sa Carrela ‘e nanti” in Santu Lussurgiu, and the “Sartiglia” of Oristano Easter Week The rites of the “Settimana Santa” include ancient sacred songs sung by the Confraternities in Santu Lussurgiu and in Cuglieri. San Lussorio 20 - 21 August Festival of “Santu Lussorio con Ardia” in honour of the saint with riders circling the main church on their horses and galloping through the narrow streets until the outskirts of the village. |
